BUILDING FUND

Due to the miraculous growth with which God has blessed the college we are now in the process of expanding our facilities.  We have no choice in this matter.  With the expanding number of students has come an immense expansion of the records that we must keep in hard-file as well as electronic file format.  To handle this volume of student records we have to expand our facilities here at the College home office.

We have already purchased a modular building and paid it off in the last year-and-a-half.  Our contractor and engineer have recently completed the submission of paperwork to the city zoning commission and we are waiting for the building permits required for us to install the modular buildings and complete the interior.

To complete this project we need to raise $30,000.00 USD.

In the eight years SLBC has been online we have never held a fund-raising drive.  We have helped educate well over 11,000 students, including the more than 500 students currently studying with us, and God has blessed and is still blessing as our student body continues to grow.  Up to this point we have run the college from temporary facilities.  However, we have now utilized them to the point of more than maximum capacity and have no choice but to move into the modular office building.

In that building will be two offices, a library, a storeroom, and two medium sized classrooms.  The two offices and the storeroom will house all of the records, in both hard-copy and electronic copy formats, and the offices will allow staff to continue running the college efficiently and effectively.  The two classrooms will be used for on-campus classes which are video-recorded for use in our new online Video College.

We have never asked the alumni or the current students for financial help.  However, it is now critical that we move into the new facilities.  And to do that we need help from those whom we have helped over the years and those we are continuing to help.  We claim the expectation and teaching of God's Word in this matter.

First Corinthians 9:11
If we have sown unto you spiritual things,
is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?

Also, for other Churches and Christians who are not alumni, this is your chance to help us and by doing so help the teaching of God's Word to countless thousands down through the coming years until the Lord returns to take us home to be with Him.  It is a Missions investment in the souls of men, women, boys, and girls as we train students so they can effectively take the gospel "unto the uttermost" as the Lord has commanded us all to do.
