The Church

and Missions

 

   In this course you will study the biblical concept of missions and the Great Commission, upon which the concept of missions is based, that was given to the Local Church by Jesus Christ himself.  This course will be a comprehensive study of the who, what, where, when, how, and why, of missions and how it applies to the Local New Testament Church.

• METHOD OF STUDY:
  1. Student is required to read the text, "The Church and Missions" by Dr. T.E. VanBuskirk.
  2. Look up and read all scriptures referenced in the textbook.
  3. NOTE:  Student may not complete more than one section in any one week.
  Sections are written to be studied in a 5-7 day period per lesson.  Tests may be submitted on the seventh day of the week of study.

• Testing Instructions
  Make sure you read and submit the Testing Instructions form if you have not already done so.
  Section tests are open book.
     ATTENTION:  If you fail a test, you MAY NOT attempt that test again on the same day.  You must restudy the textbook/workbook and find all of the correct answers to the questions missed and then retake the test no sooner than the next day.
  
  
• Read required text:  The Church and Missions by Dr. T.E. VanBuskirk
  You may download this textbook from our library or you can simply read it online.
  
  

• FINAL TEST
  - Once you have completed all sections of the textbook and passed all of the corresponding section tests, and found the correct answers to any questions missed on any test, then you may Retrieve the Password and, upon receiving the Password, take the Final Test for the course.    Final Test is "closed book" and you must submit the Closed Book Test Contract Form before taking the test.  There is a 20 minute time limit on the test.  You will see a time-remaining clock in the upper right hand corner of the test.  Time doesn't start until your first question comes up on the screen.
  - Once you pass the final test do not take it again.
  - If you fail the final test then you need to restudy both the textbook and all of the section tests and then retake the final test. Repeat this process until you pass the Final Test.
  - If you miss any questions on the Final Test, even though you passed the test, then you need to review the textbook and all of the section tests and find the correct answers to the questions you missed.
  
  ATTENTION: Please Sign In and mark the form "Finish" before proceeding to retrieve the password and take the Final Test.

This Final Test is "closed book."
