Mormon Claims Answered
by Marvin W. Cowan
The title of the textbook, Mormon Claims Answered, sums up its message and its purpose. Since its inception, Mormonism has claimed that all other churches are universally apostate (heretical) and that the LDS church alone is the
"only true and living church upon the face of the whole earth" (D. & C. 1:30). The purpose of this book is not to attack, ridicule or persecute Mormons, but rather to show that LDS claims against historic Christianity are flawed. The LDS claim that they alone have the keys to salvation would mean that the LDS Church is a necessary "mediator" between God and men and that conflicts with I Tim. 2:5 which declares that Jesus Christ is the only

you can use your textbook while taking the

If you fail a test, you MAY NOT
attempt that test again on the same day. You must
restudy the textbook, workbook, or Bible, whichever is appropriate, and find all of the
correct answers to the questions missed and then retake
the test no sooner than the next day. If you fail the retake then you must wait the requisite one day before attempting the test again. Use that time for additional restudy of the lesson. Remember the general rule for testing: you may not take more than one test in any one subject in one day.
- Attendance: These are the numbers that you enter on each of the required forms.
