Tabernacle and Temple

The Tabernacle and the Temple

This course will help solidify the connection between the Old Covenant under Moses and the New Covenant in Christ.  It will also help expand on the groundwork established by your earlier study through the book of Hebrews. Included will be the histories of both the Tabernacle and the Temple(s) from both biblical and external sources as well as comparisons and explanations of their surroundings and contents.  Comparisons to the person and the work of Jesus Christ will be shown from the tabernacle and from both the ancient and modern Temples of God.

How to study: Read through the textbook and look up all of the scripture references given.  Only those references that are complete with book, chapter, and verse (example- Ps 12:6-9) are required reading.  Those references giving only book and/or chapter (example- Ps ch. 21) are not required to be read; they are only given for reference.  You may read them if you so desire but they are not required reading.

The textbook is divided into eight sections. Not more than one section may be completed each week. At the end of each section you will stop and take the Section Test that corresponds with the section you just finished studying.  All Section Tests are “open book,” which means you may use your textbook while taking the tests.

TESTING:  Make sure you read and submit the testing instructions form before taking any of the tests if you have not already done so.

After completing a test:
-
If you failed the test then you must restudy that entire section of the textbook and then retake the test.  Repeat this process until you finally pass the test.
ATTENTION: You MAY NOT take any test more than once on any one day but must wait until the next day to repeat the test.
- If you miss any of the questions on any test, pass or fail, then you must review the textbook section corresponding to that test and find, in the textbook or in the Bible, whichever is appropriate, the correct answers to any questions answered incorrectly.  A copy of your test was sent to you automatically and you can use that to make sure that you have found the correct answers in the textbook.
Once you have found all of the correct answers in the textbook for any missed questions on the test that you passed, then you may continue on to the next section of the textbook.
- Repeat tests:  If you repeat a test to try to get a higher score it will not be recorded because all repeats after receiving a passing score are scrapped.  Only the first passing score is added to your testing record.  Any repeats just generate more work for us because we have to hand-process them to make sure they are not first time passing tests that need to be added to your file.

FINAL TEST
Once you have completed all sections of the textbook and passed all of the corresponding tests, and found the correct answers to any questions missed on any test, then you may Retrieve the Password and, upon receiving the Password, take the Final Test for the course.  Final Test is "open book" which means you may use your textbook while taking the test.
-  Once you have passed the final test, do not take it again.
-  If you fail the final test then you need to restudy both the textbook and all of the section tests, finding the correct answers to all questions missed (use your copy of the tests that were sent to you to make sure you have found all of the correct answers in the textbook) and then retake the final test. Repeat this process until you pass the Final Test.  ATTENTION: You may not take the Final Test, or any other test, more than once on any one day.
-  If you miss any questions on the Final Test, even though you have passed the test, then you need to review the textbook and all of the section tests and find the correct answers in the textbook to the questions you missed. A copy of each of your section tests was sent to you and they will have all of the correct answers on it for comparison purposes to make sure you have found the correct answers in the textbook.

You may now go to the class.
